HISTORY: The Clines-Plunkett house was started with the
two-story portion in 1925 on land purchased by Lemuel T. Clines from his
father-in-law, Julius C. Adam. Lemuel and his father, Leonard S. Clines, a
professional carpenter, built the then totally wooden two story structure. In
1946 Lemuel added the back rooms. Gene Adam, son of Julius Adam, did the rock
work on the walls, patio and entrance. After the Kohler's purchased the house in
1960, they added the north and south wings.
In the late 1970s or 80s
Llewellen Plunkett and his wife, Pam, purchased the home from her aunt, Mrs.
Kohler. They added the swimming pool and other embellishments.
