HISTORY: On Dec. 18 1875 Johannes Franz Stendebach bought six lots on the present day Kronkosky Street. He constructed the house known as "The Pioneer House" since it was bought by Erna Davis and restored to its original decor in 1965. The house has had several owners including Mrs. Mary Dienger who lived there for forty years - 1921 to 1961. Mrs. Davis purchased it from Mary Dienger's son, Lew Dienger.
