| Dr. R. L. Fulcher | Dr. Robert Lee Fulcher is signed as physician on many of the Death Certificates of those who lived in the east part of Kendall County near the Kendalia community. Dr. Fulcher, who had come to Texas from Louisiana, married Lucy Reeve, the daughter of Dr. John R. Reeve who also practiced in Blanco County. Dr. John R. Reeve was a brother of Dr. William T. | Dr. W. B. Lawrence | Dr. Lawrence and his wife, Annie, are found in Comfort, Texas in the 1910 Census where they were listed as Boarders. Only two years later he died, on June 2, 1912, of tuberculosis. | Dr. Tritt | Dr. Earl Franklin Tritt was a young doctor about 27 years old when he signed the death certificate of 8 year old Luther Lester. He was born about 1902 in Harlingen, Texas to parents who had been born in the state of Tennessee. After finishing high school, Dr. Tritt attended Baylor College in Waco. The 1930 census lists him as a 28 year old, white, married, lodger in the D.A. Harrison home on Beal Street, San Antonio, Bexar, Texas. Listed also was his wife Gladys, and baby Earleen K. | Dr. Weatherhead | John and Julia Weatherhead were both confirmed in England before coming to Texas. In 1887 they bought old town lots 41 and 49 in Survey 180 from H. Werner and her husband (Vol 10, p. 98). Later they moved to the country and ownedthe land nowknownas Steel Valley off the Sisterdale Road. Dr. Weatherhead attended the English families. Edith Gilliat reported that she was his 100th baby. The family was very active in the life and work of St. Helena's Episcopal Church. Dr. Weatherhead, along with James T. Clarke, and J. A. Guthrie were probably responsible for the continuance of the church ~ Boerne during the critical period from 1892 to 1898. He served as the Lay Reader most of this time.
