EBENSBERGER-KLAR HOUSE
116 Cottonwood

HISTORY: The house was built for Pat and Frieda Ebensberger about the time of their marriage in 1915. They lived here for ten years. In 1922 their only son, August Carl, was born. They built another home on the same street in 1925. At that time R.J. Boyle purchased the home at 116 Cottonwood. In 1936, Bruno and Emma Simon Rust purchased the house and moved in from Walnut Grove Road. They lived here until 1972. Various owners have lived here until the house was purchased by Neva ; A.B. Thompson who bought it from Reuben and Martha Klar. The Klar's had owned the house for ten years from 1981 until 1991.
