HISTORY: Home of Hugo Guenther Adam and Etelka Hofheinz Adam.
The picture above was probably taken in the 1930's or early 1940's. Windows were
added to the screen porch on the east side of the building around 1945. The Adam
family lived in this house from 1930 until 1947. John Kirschke purchased the
house probably about this time. It remained in the Kirschke family until the
1990's although they did not remain in residence. It was rented to a number of
families after they moved to new quarter on their ranch.
The exterior of
the house was rocked and the entrance to the front porch was moved to the side
to make the approach from the driveway. On the east side of the driveway there
is a two story frame building referred to in the Boerne Library files as the Harbin Garage
