DESCRIPTION: Begun as a log cabin, this house has expanded into a large home.
HISTORY: The log portion of this house was built in 1849 on Cibolo Creek by Ludwig Phillip who was a master carpenter and stone mason. It was moved to is present location when the Boerne Lake was formed by the Conservation Dam Project. The original cabin was incorporated into a larger house by Mr. Hardy. Little of the log cabin is visible now.
