HISTORY: This limestone rock home was built by William Kuhfuss, a very prominent businessman in early Boerne history between 1882 and 1884. He died in 1894 and his wife, Theresa, gave the home to their daughter and son-in-law, Ottilie and F. W. Schweppe in 1895. F.W. was a lawyer, publisher, school-teacher and Kendall County Judge 1890- 1896. The home passed to their son, Herbert Schweppe in 1949 and from him to the Vernon Norris family until 1985. At that time it was purchased by Balous and Julie Miller who live in a larger house on the 125 acre tract and use this as a guest house. The limestone rock work
