Original survey 1965 by J.T. Dawkins and J.T. Dawkins, Jr.
Charles Gideon & Mary L. Ewing Fletcher were Great Grandparents of Marcylle Jackson Brown of Centerville.
In 1999 I (Herbert) talked to J.T. Dawkins, Jr. He does not remember where the cemetery is but he is sure that the road that is three miles east of Normangee which is CR 407 is not where it could be. He thinks it should have been referenced as 5 miles east of Normangee which would be CR 403. He says this because Mrs. Robert Martin owns a tract of land on CR 403 that he calls “The Ewing Pasture”. I talked to Mrs. Martin and they do not know of a cemetery on their place. On the north side of CR 403 at about 1 mile from OSR there has been a lot of bulldozing recently. If this is actually the road referred to in the 1965 survey there is a real good chance that the cemetery is lost forever.
