From highway 39 in Normangee, go west on FM highway 3, a distance of 10.1 miles. The Greer Cemetery sign is located on the right side of the highway at CR 469. Take CR 469 0.40 miles to CR 4691. Take a left on CR 4691 and go 1.2 miles to the end of the road and the cemetery.

Donelson/Donnelson/Donaldson
Stonecutters made mistakes just as typist do. Headstones for Stanford and Elizabeth, professionally made, have Donaldson. Their children’s stones, not so well made, and worn almost beyond reading, have Donnelson. Mrs Greer says the name is Donnelson/Donelson. Mrs. Bula Donelson told the compiler that the early family spelled it with two “N” but later generations dropped one of them.
