McMillin Cemetery

This is a White Cemetery

From Highway 39 in Robbins go west on highway 7, 0.90 miles to CR 348 (this is the entrance to Concord Baptist Church and Concord Cemetery.  Go northwest on CR 348, 3.30 miles to CR 390.  Take a left on CR 390 and go 0.35 miles to the James Cravey house (on the left).  There will be a gate on the right.  Go through this gate and go across the pasture of James Cravey and into the Ruby Lee (Cravey) Speer tract of land and into the woods a distance of 0.30 miles.  A large bone was lying on the right hand side of the trail for a marker.  The tombstones are about 100 feet into the woods to the right.  The tombstones are propped up on the south side of a large tree (Oak?), the actual graves are on the north side of this tree under a large pile of iron ore rocks.  The baby girls grave is to the east of these two graves a short distance under another pile of iron ore rocks.

Researched Oct 7, 1999 by Herbert H. McCarter.

Mrs. Frances Cravey took me to the graves and gave me the traditional information.  She also told me that there is an Indian burial ground some where on this or nearby land.  She remembers some of her family hunting and finding arrowheads along the creek at the back of this land, in the past.  I could not have found these graves with out the help of Mrs. Cravey.
