Directions to cemetery:
From Highway 39 in Jewett go west on Highway 79 a distance of
1.80 miles to FM 1512.
Turn right on FM 1512 and go north 3 miles. The Cemetery
will be on the left.
Original survey in 1965 by Orpha Betts, Molly Lundy, Mary Thomas, Mrs. Charles Salmons, Kate Harrison,Mrs. Macon Mattison & Billie Douthitt
The 1982 survey was done by Jackie and Don Willingham. They are the Survey/Records Committee for the Sardis Cemetery Association and provided the 1999 updated information.

E=East Side (new section – east side of cemetery along East
road, front to south (rear of cemetery)
CF=Center Front: A,B,C,&D – front of cemetery south to L.L.
Leonard on west side & to W.N. Francis on east side.
CB A= Center Back A – from CB C thru C.N. Russell on East road &
from CF C to large cedar tree south of west road.
CB B=Center Back B – from CB A south to rear of cemetery.
WF=West Front – from front gate to near end of old West road (to
Oran Pleas Price - John W. Mathews).
WC=West Center – from Oreen P. Price – J.W. Matthews south to
end of West road 7 west from Zephry Taylor thru J.M. Parker to
fence.
WB A=West Back A – south from EC (south from end of West road to
cedar tree then west thru Fred A. Parker to fence.
WB B=West Back B – from WB A south to rear of cemetery & west to
southwest corner of cemetery.
