This is a White Cemetery
Take the west I 45 frontage road at highway 79 in Buffalo and go south 4.5 miles to CR 327. Go west on CR 327, 2.8 miles. A wood sign next to a metal gate on the left side of the road shows the entrance to a pasture. The gate is locked and you need to get a key from the Las Lomas Ranch who is the owner of the land to get in. Their telephone number in 1999 is 903-626-4611 or 903-626-4612.

Surveyed by Mr. W. J. Durant of Jewett, 1981
Mr. Durant states in a letter to Mrs. Maggie McDaniel that it appears there
is a union soldier buried here but he is no yet certain.
Surveyed by Herbert H. McCarter, Nov 11, 1999.
This cemetery is completely enclosed within a chain link fence. There is a
nice metal sign at the entrance with UNION CEMETERY across the top of it.
There is a covered meeting area and some nice picnic tables out under the trees.
It looks like the area fenced is about 1 acre square. This cemetery has a lot of
concrete brick markers with numbers on them. Some of these numbered
markers have other concrete brick markers with information leaning on them.
This is the #’s that appear in parenthesis after some of the entries. I
don’t know who put the concrete bricks or the plan that was used in placing
them.
Updated as needed through the use of the Obits.
