Wilson Lake

(This is a Black Cemetery)

From Centerville take Highway 7 and go east 6.5 miles to FM 811.  Turn right on FM 811 and go 5.3 miles to CR 124.  Take a left on CR 124 and go 0.60 miles to CR 122.  Take a left on CR 122 and go 4.10 miles to the end of the road.  At this point there is a gate on the right side of the road with a cattle guard (this is a private roadway).  Take this roadway and at 0.10 mile there is another gate, at 0.15 miles a house will be on the left and some out buildings will be on the right.  As you get to the front of the house take about a 90 degree turn to the right and go across the field to about 400 or 500 feet to a fence.  The graves are just over the fence.

Researched by Herbert H. McCarter & Buddy Brown Dec 16, 1999

This cemetery is not taken care of very well.  Mr. Brown says he remembers that at one time there were a lot more grave stones than what were found at this survey.
