| NOTES: Andrew Jackson and Sarah Parker are my GGrandparents. Andrew Jackson served in the Confederate States of America in Company E of the 1st Battalion of Infantry, Waul's Legion. He enlisted on May 3, 1862 and was discharged in May 1865. Many of our family researchers have Sarah's maiden name as Wilson. In my research I couldn't come up with a Wilson Family. In her application for widow's pension she states she was born in Sabine Co., TX and in my research in that county I came up with a Lambright Family (U.S. Census 1860) that listed a Joseph and a Sarah born at the same time as these two were. I believe Joseph who married Emmaline Matilda Parker (Andrew Jackson's sister) is the brother of Sarah. |
