To the Presiding Elder and members of the Second Quarterly Conference, Normangee Charge, Huntsville District.

We submit the following report
Due to weather conditions and sickness and deaths in our charge since annual conference we haven’t made much headway, these conditions have been a handicap to the church program
Our missionary society of Normangee is doing splendid work.
We conducted a Pre-Easter service with good attendance. No new members
Our three church schools are doing about the same.

To the District Superintendent and members of the first quarterly conference;
Since the Pastor has not been here long and due to the fact that this conference is early, there are few things to report definitely. Plans are under way to change the numbers of churches on the charge, so we will report on individual churches at the next quarterly conference, however, we will report now that our charge has been changed back to the Marlin District. We go gladly and welcome our new District Superintendent.
The preacher and his wife wish to express their appreciation to the people who have received them so well.
We come to serve you but we ask for your cooperation in promoting Gods Kingdom.
Bad weather has hindered the pastor in contacting his members, but he has managed to make 47 visits 46 calls have been made to see the sick, besides he has held two stewards meetings and read one book.
Regarding future work, we want to get all details worked out so that we can settle down to work. A thorough canvass will be made of the charge and especially will we consider prospective members.
All financial askings will be considered at the proper time. The great emphasis of the year will be placed upon evangelism. Let us hope & pray that this will be a great year, and let us work toward this end.
Respectfully

To the District Superintendent and members of the Second quarterly conference;
As we come to this conference, it seems that we are making some progress. The spirit of our people is good, and with the coming of spring the attendance is growing at both of our churches, and this includes both the church and church school services.
We are stating in this report for the sake of our record, that Redland and Concord have been placed with other Charges, and Normangee and Flynn make up a charge of their own.
At Normangee the Woman's Society of Christian Service is working very faithfully to build a new church.
As for members, one certificate has been given during the quarter and two members have been received. The pastor has held on funeral and married one couple.
Our special collections have been taken from time to time, and they have been fair.
The Good Samaritan offering was taken and our quota was raised in full.
Regarding the work of the pastor, he has made 110 visits, called upon 30 sick member, gotten 8 advocate subscriptions, attended several District meetings, made a number of sermons and read five good books
Looking into next quarter, there are three principal things to center our attention upon;
First, we want to continue to increase our church and Sunday school attendance.
Second, we want to collect our benevolence.
Third, we want to have a genuine revival at both Normangee and Flynn. We trust and pray that it may be so.
Respectfully

To the District Superintendent and members of the third quarterly conference
The condition of our charge seems to be improved as we come to this conference. The spirit of the people is fine and all finances are pretty well up to date.
The important item to report is the revival, which was held at Normangee. The pastor did the preaching, and no singer was hired, yes the meeting was a great success. The people report that it has been years since such crowds came to a revival. The spirit was wonderful and four new members came into our church. Three of them were on profession of faith.
Two funerals were held during the quarter, but only one was held for a member of our charge. The passing of Mrs. A. E. GROMLEY is a great loss but heaven has been make more beautiful.
The pastor has been busy during this quarter. Besides holding the revival at Normangee he has read one book and made some new sermons, also he has worked on the benevolences and made 75 visits, eleven sick calls have been made. The church at Normangee has donated enough money to send the preacher to the pastor's school at S. M. U. so he is looking forward to the trip.
More time will be spent with Flynn next quarter. We are looking forward to a great revival in July.
Respectfully

To the District Superintendent and members of the fourth quarterly conference;
This conference finds our charge in fair condition. An effort has been made during this year to promote the church and some progress has been made.
For this quarter two members have been given their church certificate but eleven members have been added to our rolls.
As for the pastor, he has held one meeting and has kept busy with his visiting, reading and sermon making.
The big item for the quarter was our revival at Flynn. Eight members were received into the church and six were on profession of faith. The church at Flynn is really doing things is a splendid way.
Taken as a whole some worthwhile things have been accomplished in both of our churches this year. Some good members have been received. The attendance has picked up at both churches and the spirit is encouraging.
Regarding the closing of the year we expect to receive some more people into our church and to report out 100% on all finances.
Respectfully
O. H. ZIMMERMAN P. C.
