J. B. Alexander of Oakwood Dies
Jessie B. Alexander, 60, a retired farmer of Oakwood, died in a hospital
here at 1 a.m. today following a short illness.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Hassell &
Foster Funeral Home here.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ida Winchester Alexander of Oakwood;
Thurman Alexander, with the armed forces in Germany and Edward Alexander of
Florida: a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Richerson of Lubbock; two brothers, Joe and Lee
Alexander, both of Oakwood; a sister, Mrs. C. W. Powell, of Oakwood and 12
grandchildren.
