Funeral services for Joe Alexander, 65, of 1223 Caroline St.,
Bossier City, will be held ay 2 p.m. today at the Oakwood
Methodist Church in Oakwood, TX., with the Rev. O.B. Hardin,
pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of
Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City.
Mr. Alexander died at 7:30 a.m. Friday at Bossier General
Hospital following a long illness.
He was a native resident of Leon County, TX., and a three-year
resident of Bossier City.
Survivors include his widow; three daughters, Mrs. L. J. Hudson,
Mrs Clark Howell and Mrs. Betty Smith, all of Bossier City; four
sons, Tommy R. Alexander and Charles K. Alexander both of
Bossier City, Lonnie J. Alexander and Aubrey Alexander, both of
Oakwood; one sister, Mrs. Florence Powell of Oakwood; one
brother, Lee Alexander of Oakwood; and eight grandchildren.
