FRANK BADILLO
Died 20 November 2008 – Walters Funeral Home

A funeral mass for Frank Badillo, age 80 of Madisonville, will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 24, at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Madisonville. Burial will be in the Madisonville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday at the Madisonville Funeral Home with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Joe Badillo, Carlos Badillo Jr., Brandon Badillo, Teresa Badillo, Patricia Salas and Jake Badillo. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Badillo III and David Badillo.

Mr. Badillo was born on July 24, 1928 in Sinton, Texas to Severiano & Carmen Ybarra Badillo and passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the Madison St. Joseph Health Center. He moved to Madisonville in 1977 and formerly lived in San Antonio. Frank moved here to work at Monteray Mushroom, where he retired. He later sold produce next to Wal-Mart. He enjoyed playing dominoes and was also a very good pool player ( or pool shark). Frank loved talking to people and never met a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone. Frank loved Madisonville and his family says that he was the “Best Father”. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ramiro Badillo; brothers, Miguel, Roberto, Basillio and sister, Tonya.

Survivors include his wife, Esperanza Badillo of San Antonio; three sons, Carlos Badillo & wife, Crisella of Bryan, Isidro Badillo & wife, Inelda of Austin, Frank Badillo Jr. & wife, Rose of Waco; daughters, Gloria Zarate & husband, Baudelio of Madisonville, Hope Amaya & Maurice Belizare of Madisonville; sisters, Paulina Renteria of San Francisco, Ermila Garduno & husband, Ernest of San Francisco; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
