T. D. "Dell" Dickey

T.D. DICKEY - T.D. (Dell) Dickey was born November 1st 1901, in Leon County, Texas; died December 5th 1946 at
4 P.M. in Southwestern General Hospital in El Paso, Texas.

Mr. Dickey moved to Groveton with his family in 1914, attended the Groveton school until he was in the 11th grade when his health failed and he had to go west. He made is residence in Capitan, New Mexico, engaged in ranching. He was married to Miss Madeline Covers of Greenville, IL who at that time was chief dietitian at Fort Stanton, New Mexico.

Mr. and Mrs. Dickey made their summer home in Capitan, New Mexico and winter home in El Paso until his death.

He was a member of the Methodist church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Madeline Dickey of El Paso, two brothers, J.C. and W.L. Dickey of Groveton, and two sisters, Mrs. George Dean of Groveton and Mrs. I.D. Jackson of Huntsville.
