was born July 12, 1864 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He and Miss Susie Palmer were married
in 1885 and moved to Texas soon after their marriage. Funeral services were held
July 9 at Hoewell Cemetery under the direction of Davis Cozart with the Rev. J.
B. Davis officiating. Pallbearers were Lamar Palmer, Phil Ward, George Kyle,
Jr., James Kyle, George Chambless, Pat Sandifer".
