Lorene Radley

LORENE RADLEY, born to Charlie and Annie (Lathrop) Nichols May 21, 1923 in Keechi, Leon Co., TX, passed away in Pasadena, TX on March 14, 2008.  Lorene was a long time Pasadena resident having moved here at an early age.  Lorene graduated from Deer Park High School.

She met and married Frank Radley November 19, 1942 in Beaumont, TX.

They had one son, Kenneth Radley, born in Pasadena. Lorene was employed by Champion Paper Company for 33 years. Lorene was an avid traveler and RV'er. She and Frank were original members of "Good Sam's" Club in Baytown. Lorene was a long time member of South Avenue Baptist Church.

Lorene is survived by Frank Radley, husband; Kenneth and Cynthia Radley, son and daughter-in-law; Samantha and Babe Beckner, granddaughter and husband and Daryl Radley, grandson.

She was preceeded in death by: parents, Charlie & Annie (Lathrop) Nichols; and two brothers, Jewel Dee Nichols and Alvin Grady Nichols.

Visitation was held Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Blvd. from 4-8 PM. The Funeral Service was held Monday, March 17, 2008, at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, at 12 noon. Burial was at Brushy Cemetery near Buffalo, Leon Co., Texas.
