Bonnie Nell Voison – died 27 November 2008 – Walters Funeral Home

Funeral services for Bonnie Nell Voisin age 77, of Buffalo, Texas, are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo. Rev. Johnny Veretto will officiate the service. Interment will be in the Russell Cemetery, Jewett, Texas.

Visitation will be held today, Friday, November 28, 2008 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Buffalo Funeral Home.

Bonnie Nell Voisin was born on September 11, 1931 in Freestone Co., Texas to William Andrew and Lena Mae (Lampier) McLeod. She has lived the past fifty years in Buffalo and was a member of the Buffalo Missionary Baptist Church in Buffalo. She was a homemaker; she loved her family, they were her life, especially her grandchildren. She loved reading, playing cards and bingo. Mrs. Voisin passed away Thursday evening, November 27, 2008 in Buffalo. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Tommy Alfred Voisin; brother, J.P. McLeod; sister, Dorothy Pecot; and her first husband, Travis Brotherton.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Voisin of Buffalo, Texas; one son and daughter in law, Billy Jim Brotherton and wife, Tina of Freestone, Texas; three daughters and two son in laws, Sheri Reed and husband David of Fairifeld, Texas, Jill Robinson and husband, Glenn of Buffalo, Texas, and Carla Freeman of Donie, Texas; one brother, Johnny McLeod and wife Hilda of Fairfield, Texas,; one sister, Happy Savage of Teague, Texas; seven grandchildren; Chrissy Brotherton, Will Brotherton, Marshall Robinson, Alli Robinson, Kyle Freeman, Jennifer Reed, James Reed; four great grandchildren, Destiny Brotherton, Shandel Richardson, Travis Brotherton, Bradie Brotherton, and one great great grandson, Xavier Brotherton.

The pallbearers are Will Brotherton, Marshall Robinson, Kyle Freeman, James Reed, Joe Salvage, David McLeod, and Don McLeod. The honorary pallbearer is Larry Maxwell.
