Thomas H HULEN, Jr was born on Dec 25, 1850 in Alabama, probably Barbour Co. He married Mary E HEIDELBERG on May 27, 1868 in Barbour County. She was born Dec 6, 1845 in Georgia. Their children were Charlie W born in 1869; Ida Maud in 1871; Augustus in 1873; Carrie in 1875; Ella in 1877; all born in Alabama. Evelyn born in 1878, the first of these children born in Texas; William Wesley born in 1879 in Limestone County; Belle was born in 1881; and Middleton Thomas was born in 1882.

Thomas was a farmer in Limestone County until at least 1905. Mary died Jan 1, 1905 in Groesbeck at age 58. In May of 1909, Thomas marries Joanna BOWERS MEDDERS. On the 1910 and 1920 Census records, he and Joanna are living at Mart in McLennan County. Thomas died on Oct 15, 1929 in Dallas County, Texas.

Thomas' son William Wesley HULEN was born on Dec 25, 1879 in Mexia, Limestone County, Texas. He was married to Elizabeth (Bettie) WILLIAMS on Feb 21, 1897 in Groesbeck. Bettie was born on Jan 26, 1881 in Limestone County. She was the daughter of George Mitchell WILLIAMS and Georgia Ann BATES. William Wesley and Bettie remain in Limestone County until at least 1900. By 1910 they were in Ellis County, and 1920 they were living in Johnson County. Bettie died Jan 4, 1920 in Venus (Johnson County) after giving birth to twins. Both of the twins died also. Bettie and the twins are buried at Venus. William Wesley and Bettie's children were: Carrie born in 1898; Thomas born in 1899; Mary 1901; Ira 1902; William 1903; Essie 1907; Effie 1909; John 1910;Agnes 1912;Herman 1914; Willard 1916; Woodrow 1918; and the twins Dec 31, 1919. William Wesley later married Lulu E DEVIN in 1923 in Johnson County. Lulu died in 1927 and was buried at the Grandview Cemetery. On Jun 16, 1928, he married Jennie Lee MCKENZIE of Leon County, Texas. By the early 1930s, William Wesley and Jennie Lee are in Fort Worth, Tarrant County. About 1932, they move to Maxwell, New Mexico and remain there until the early 1950s and then move back to Fort Worth where William Wesley died in March of 1957. He was buried at the Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro, Texas. Jennie Lee died in 1975 in Tarrant County and is also buried at the Ridge Park Cemetery.
