This cemetery is located on the George Heussner Ranch at Forest Glade. It is land that was owned by MCM Abernathy.
Mr. Abernathy's initials stood for Masterson Coleman McCormick.

Mr. JL Cogdell's name was Junius LaFayette.

This plot is fenced and contains only the seven graves that are listed. It is reported that there are some other graves outside the fence, but they are unmarked and are not members of either the Abernathy or Cogdell families.
