Mr. Hewitt was a Private in Texas Green's Division Brigade, CSA
There had been many more graves in this cemetery and the markers were moved
during the Mexia oil boom.
The true name of this cemetery is not known. Since this is the only marker
remaining, it is called "Hewitt" in this survey.
