Comments: Zachariah H. Osborn came to Live Oak Co. Texas before 1860
from
Yolobusha Co. Miss. with his wife, Martha, two children, Lucy & John &
mother-in-law, Lucy W. Denby. He purchased land in Live Oak Co. &
raised
stock.He joined the Oakville Reserve Company Aug. 5, 1861.  He served
as
Live Oak County Commissioner from 1862-1865 and 1876-1879; he was the
Live Oak Co. Justice of Peace for Precinct 5 until 1879.
