The Jefferson Jimplecute, of the 29th ult., reports a terrible
hail storm on the previous evening, in the Bend neighborhood of
Marion county. Lumps of ice fell weighing more than two pounds.
Roofs of houses were broken to pieces. The corn is completely
destroyed. The extent of the storm was not known, but was
believed to be considerable.
