Note - I try to be very careful to be as certain as possible about any info. before recording it. Please let me know if you have validation that something should be different than what I have recorded . Do not know why the spelling of

Tart/Tartt changed, adding another t on the end. In many records I have seen it spelled both ways.

'Bill' Tart remembers that Wm. J. 'Bill' Tart was walking home and stopped to rest at a friend's home, where he died suddenly) Also noted on death cert., which Leesey was informant, stated that Susan Higans (Higgins?) was mother of Wm. Jefferson Tart - will be checking on this.
