Mr. W. C. Stevenson, Architect
Beeville, Texas

Dear Mr. Stevenson,

On Friday evening, March 4th, we are putting on our long de-
layed dedication program for our new school building. It will take
the form of a banquet, if possible the form of a fish dinner,
at 6 o'clock, followed by a general program in the auditorium
at 8 o'clock. Our guests at the banquet will include our School
Board, the school faculty, Mr. O'Bannion of the Division of Super-
vision in the State Department of Education, and several Superin-
tendents from this section, and you. This will afford a excellent
opportunity for a conference between Mr. O'Bannion and the Board.
We will expect you to sit on the stage at the general program and
possibly say a few words of a congradulatory nature on the com-
unity on that part of their school program already finished, and
somewhat of a challenge to go on and finish the program. I feel
that these words from you will help us greatly in completing our
program of building a school that will in some measure satisfy
the educational needs of this community.
May I have your acceptance immediately by return mail?
I am looking forward with much pleasure in seeing you again.

                                                Yours Very Truly,
                                                  W. G. Luce (signature)
                                                  W. G. Luce, Supt.
