Four Generations Gather In Menard Home

Four generations of Lovelace's were brought together over last week-end in the home of J. R. (John Ray) Lovelace of this city. W. H. (William Henry) Lovelace of Brown county who lives seventeen miles from Brownwood, eight-seven years of age; J. R. (John Ray) Lovelace of Menard, sixty-three; his son W. D. (William "Bill") Lovelace of Del Rio, age thirty and his grandson, W. D. Lovelace, Jr., who is five months old today--all these were present at the reunion.

Of the eight children reared by W. H. Lovelace, five sons and one daughter with whom he makes his home, are still living. J.R. Lovelace's family consist of three sons and one daughter, W. D. Lovelace, Jr. is the only grandchild of the J. R. Lovelace family and the Jess Johnson family. In the entirer connection of which W. H. Lovelace is great-grandfather there are eight children, twenty-eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

J. R. Lovelace local barber, has been in the tonsorial business for thirty-five years, coming to Menard sixteen years ago from Stephenville.
