Boozer, Troy

BOOZER, TROY                                                                                            August 27, 1898 August 7, 1968

 Troy Boozer, 69, of Omaha, died Wednesday in a Naples hospital.  He was a member of the Omaha First Methodist Church, a retired farmer, and a lifetime resident of the Omaha area.  Survivors include his widow; two sons, Vanoy Boozer of Hughes Springs, and J. B. Boozer, of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Richey of Omaha, and Mrs. Montine Martin of Longview; four brothers, Roy and Allen Boozer, both of Omaha; Howard Boozer of Dallas; and Willie Boozer of Ajo, AZ; four sisters Miss Dora Boozer, Miss Fronie Boozer and Mrs. Irene Morris, all of Omaha, and Mrs. Maggie Lee Branch of Longview; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, at the First United Methodist Church of Omaha with the Rev. A. N. Tiller, Rev. A. J. Finley and Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.  Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery with Masonic rites.  Pallbearers will be Travis Williams, J. C. Wellborn, Arvin Wellborn, Glynn Gray, Alton Gray, James Coffey, Luther Davlin and Joe Richey.   (Row 36 NE)

Daniels, John

DANIELS, JOHN                                                                                          April 7, 1888 August 30, 1968

John P. Daniels, 80-year old Naples resident, died last Friday night in the hospital here.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Naples and had lived here for the past 20 years.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Daniels of Naples; one son, Murry Davis of Naples; a daughter, Mrs. Ouida Haymes of New Madrid, MO; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Lumpkin of Bonham; and four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.  Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm Sunday at the Hanner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Morris Hill and the Rev. Bob Pearce officiating.  Burial was in the Meadow View Cemetery.  (Row 8)

Robison, Morris

ROBISON, MORRIS                                                                                  August 5, 1902 September 4, 1968

Morris Robison, a lifelong resident of the Naples area, died at the hospital in Naples Wednesday morning after a long illness.  He was 66 years old and a retired farmer.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Willie Robison of Naples; two sons, Vernon Robison of Naples, and Dan Robison of Dallas; one daughter, Lenna Puckett of Dallas; and15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday at the Hanner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. R. Pearce officiating.  Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.  (NW Row 12)

Tigert, Thelma Carruth

TIGERT, THELMA CARRUTH                                                                 December 13, 1906 April 22, 1968

MRS. JOE TIGERT (THELMA CARRUTH), 62-year old Omaha resident, died Monday morning following a long illness.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Omaha.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jerry Tigert of Omaha, and Bobby Tigert of Lone Star; five daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Hicks of El Paso, Mrs. Nell Bisang of Wink, Mrs. Mary Blackburn of Dallas, and Mrs. Frankie Berry and Mrs. Wilma Jo Vissering of Naples; two brothers, Ike Carruth of Omaha, and Tommy Carruth of Winfield; and three sisters, Mrs. Alma Godsey, Mrs. Zelma Sanders and Mrs. Lessie Kennedy, all of Mt. Pleasant; and 17 grandchildren.  Funeral services were held at 2:30 PM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Omaha with the Rev. Bill Beckham and the Rev. Bob Pearce officiating.  Burial was in the Snow Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Hanner Funeral Home.  Pallbearers were Thomas Thigpen, Royce Thigpen, David Giles, Luther Morris, Roy Martin, James Coffey and Clifford Wyninegar.
