Boozer, Dora Estelle

BOOZER, DORA ESTELLE                                                                          August 10, 1894 May 15, 1973

Miss Dora Boozer, 78, of Omaha, died Tuesday morning of this week.  Services were Wednesday at the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Griffith and the Rev. Dale Reed officiating.  Burial was in the Concord Cemetery.  Survivors include two brothers, Howard Boozer of Dallas and Allen Boozer of Omaha; three sisters, Fronie Boozer of Omaha, Mrs. Irene Morris of Omaha, and Mrs. Maggie Lee Branch of Longview, and a number of nieces and nephews.  Miss Boozer was a member of the Concord Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Omaha.  (Row SE Row 26)

Smith, Velma Onie Carson

SMITH, VELMA ONIE CARSON                                                                April 26, 1908 August 2, 1973

Mrs. Judge Smith 65, of Omaha, died Thursday of last week after a long illness.  Services were Saturday at the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen Griffith and the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating.  Burial was in the Concord Cemetery.  Survivors include her husband Judge Smith of Omaha; two sons, James C. Smith of Omaha and Billy Charles Smith of Ocasa Ganada, AZ; four sisters Mrs. Sybil Glover of Omaha, Mrs. Arliss Shelton of Hughes Springs, Mrs. Claudine Lancaster of Gilmer and Mrs. Mary McGee of Gilmore; her mother Mrs. Ola Carson of Omaha; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Mrs. Smith was a lifetime resident of Omaha where she was a member of the Concord Baptist Church. (Row 10 NW)

Sprouse, Elijah Clifton

SPROUSE, ELIJAH CLIFTON                                                                        1893 - 1973

Elijah Sprouse, 79 of Omaha, died Thursday afternoon in a Naples hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Hanner Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Von Dawson and the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating.  Burial will be in Concord Cemetery near Omaha.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jessie Mae Sprouse of Omaha; a son Troy Sprouse of Birmingham, AL; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Mr. Sprouse was a member of the Omaha Methodist Church, a retired merchant and a longtime resident of the Omaha community.
