U.L. Jones, Owner and Manager, and Albert Jones, Asst. Manager. Mr. Jones worked for the Bluebonnet Hotel for years until he became manager of the Stanley Hotel for the Black American trade.

It was the only hotel that specifically accommodated African Americans. Located about 2 blocks from the T&P and Santa Fe Railroad Depot so many of the workers stayed at this hotel. Standing in front of the Stanley Hotel are 4 Black baseball team players and one was the son of the hotels owner.

It was a very fancy hotel in it's time having a barber shop, soda fountain, as well as the top floor being a dance or ball room.
