Nancy Rebecca "Nannie" Pitts, daughter of William Henry Pitts and Bettie Mitchell. She was born May 23, 1852 in AL. W.L. was born ca 1844 in GA. They were listed on the 1880 Census (p 10) with four children.

1900 Census (p 154) lists Ben Jernigan, B/M, age 40, born May 1860 in TX; his wife Julia A., age 25, born Feb 1875; children: daughter Ella, age 6, born Mar 1894; son Johnnie, age 4, born Feb 1896 and daughter Mary, age 10 months, born Jul 1899. The census shows that Ben and Julia have been married seven years (ca 1893), that six children have been born of the marriage, but only three are still living.

1900 Census (p 22) lists Major, B/M, age 46, born Oct 1853 in AL as were both his parents; his wife Luranie, age 41, born Oct 1858 in GA as were her parents; and their son Marvin, age 17, born Sep 1882 in TX. The census shows Marvin as being the only child born to this marriage.

On 1880 Census (p 10) Mollie is shown with her parents Ervin and Amey Pitts. On the 1900 Census (p 101) she is shown as being divorced and the head of her own household. She was born Jan 1866 in AL. Her children as listed were son Marion, born Jul 1883 in TX and daughter Luvenia, born Nov 1886 in TX. The census shows that Mollie had given birth to five children, but only two were still living. Living in the household with her was her mother, Amy Jones, who was born May 1840 in AL. The census shows that Amy had given birth to nine children, six of whom were still living.

On 1900 Census (p 37) Henry Randolph was still living in the household of his father, William Henry Pitts, and his stepmother Mahala Taylor. Henry was born Jan 1875 in TX. Cora was living in the household of her mother Martha Wooten (p 128), the only one of her mother's two children that was still living. Cora was born May 1881 in TX.
