Mt. Olive B Cemetery, 30 Oct 1886,"This cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of Red River County, Texas. GPS COORDINATES: Datum WGS84: 33 Deg 46.662N, 94 Deg 56.672W. This is a black cemetery and is in the northeast section of RRCo TX . From Clarksville take FM 1159 past the junction with Collier Creek about 8/10 mile to the intersection with CR 3151. Take CR 3151 left or southwest for 6/10 miles. The cemetery and church is on the right about 300 feet past this turn. A deed dated 3 Nov 1900 and filed for record on 26 Apr 1907 in Book CH Vol 59 Page 271 conveys 1 11/100 acres of land on the Gabriel Martin survey from Charlie Adams et ux to Mt. Olive Church. Another deed dated 10 Apr 1907 filed for record on 26 Apr 1907 in Book CH Vol 57 Page 311 conveys 3 1/4 acres of land in the Gabriel Martin survey from Ed Lennon to Mt. Olive Church. The oldest marked burial is that of Rev. J. H. Gooden who died on 30 Oct 1886. This cemetery was surveyed by Lawrence and Sue Dale on 18 Jan 1999. We visited the site again on 8 Dec 2003 and took the GPS readings. We also did a re walk of the cemetery adding new burials and noting marker changes."
