Mount Zion B Cemetery,
3 Mar 1861,"This cemetery is located in the southeast quadrant
of Red River County, Texas. GPS COORDINATES: Datum WGS84: 33
Deg 36.639N, 95 Deg 02.822W. This cemetery is located a block
west of the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery and is across the road
from Food Basket Food Store. The oldest marked burial is that
of Paulina Bohannon who died on 3 Mar 1861. We were on the site
on 25 Feb 1999 and walked the cemetery. We returned here on 29
Jan 2003 and took the GPS Coordinates. We again visited on 26
Jan 2004 and took pictures of the area and some of the markers.
