CHRISTIAN, DALE, JOYCE, PHILLIPS, ROSE, SWOAPE, TYLER posted by Beverly Brown on Sunday, January 31, 1999

I'm looking for other researchers of my Red River kin folks: Andrew J. "Jack" PHILLIPS (1852-bef 1887)and his wife Jennie JOYCE (1860- 1904) (her last husband was John DALE.) Jack & Jennie's daughter Mary Elizabeth "Miss Mollie" PHILLIPS (1879- 1967) and her husband Charles Edward "Ed" CHRISTIAN (1872-1929). Molly & Ed's daughter Madgie CHRISTIAN (1897-1987) married James Monroe "Monroe" TYLER (1892-1954). Jack, Jennie and Mollie were all born in Tennessee. Madgie was born in Red River County TX. Somebody Christian (maybe Jim, maybe not) married Sarah Senova SISSON (1847-abt 1912) (she later married Herman ELDRED and may have married again after him.) Sarah's son Charles Edward married Madgie CHRISTIAN (above.) Sarah's other CHRISTIAN sons were Sidney (b. abt 1867) and Johnny (abt 1869-abt 1937). Sarah was born in Alabama and her sons were all born in Texas. By 1880, Sarah was married to Herman ELDRED, and her sons apparently never mentioned their father. Madgie CHRISTIAN's husband James Monroe "Monroe" TYLER was the son of James Monroe "Jim" TYLER (1864 KS-1907) and Jenny SWOAPE (1863 TN-1920). Looking for anybody researching these family lines. I'm especially stumped on the CHRISTIAN line.
