KYSER FAMILY GRAVEYARD

IDENTIFYING MARKER
There is a black wrought iron sign ( 16 inches X 8 inches) implanted
in the cradle of Susan Kyser's tombstone base - it reads: "KYSER CEMETERY 1892"


LOCATION:
In a remote area, behind a residence north of Ridge Road.
Situated 1/2 mile from the Peck Cemetery.

CONDITION:
Graveyard is fenced in Chain Link. It is 39 feet X 26.5 feet in size.
It has been neglected; needs continuous care and mowing.

Wife of J K P Kyser

A loving wife, a Mother dear
A faithful Friend, Lies buried here
Since Thou canst no longer stay
To cheer me with thou love
I hope to be with Thee again
In yon bright world above

W R Grizzle - Dallas Texas
(stone mason mark at far right bottom of stone)

**The base of this stone is there,
along with a footstone
that reads: "S A K"

Kyser James July 29, 1882
Aged 81 years
In God have I put my Trust

**Note: the tombstone base is there,
but underground -it was discovered by
probing the area.

The footstone is there - it reads: "A K"

UNKNOWN BURIAL
There is a metal funeral home marker - circa 1930's, of which the glass & paper are gone. It is not planted in the ground, and was found laying in the briars and underbrush

CENTER>*NOTE:According to Kyser descendant Edith Smith, there is a baby also buried there
