Service was Saturday in Rest Haven Funeral Homes, Rockwall Chapel with burial in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
She was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Marietta, Okla., and had been a longtime resident of the Rowena area. She was a member of Westlake Church of Christ in Mesquite.
Survivors include her parents, William and Ruby Lang of Garland; her husband, William L. Marek of Garland; her grandmother, Myrtle Wilson of Lubbock; two daughters, Renee Fitzgerald of Mesquite and Vicki Lynn Hoover of Rowlett; and seven grandchildren.
