Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery at Rockwall with the Rev. M.L. Jones, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Local arrangements are by BlackburnShaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Other arrangements are by Lyons Funeral Home in Rockwall.
Mrs. Morton was born in East Texas and moved to the Amarillo in the 1920s. She married Joe W. Morton in 1920 at Rockwall County. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Morton was a homemaker. She worked for the Amarillo Independent School District and for Panhandle Laundry. She also worked in construction. She was a Protestant.
Survivors include a son, George Morton of Amarillo; a sister, Norene Robertson of Plano; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The family will meet friends at Martin Road Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. today. The body will be available for viewing Wednesday afternoon at Lyons Funeral Home.
