He is survived by his wife, Gay Sikes of Rockwall; son, Michael Sikes and wife, Jeannie, of Poetry, Texas; mother, Geraldine Sikes of San Angelo; brother, Richard Sikes of San Angelo; sister, Betsy Sikes of Pecos; and grandchildren, Kyle Sikes and Brittney Sturrock of Poetry.
Funeral service was at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Rockwall Chapel. Interment followed in Rest Haven Memorial Park with the Rev. Fred Morrow officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Rockwall Unit, 1202 Ridge Rd., Rockwall, TX 75087. Services were under the direction of Rest Haven Funeral Homes/Rockwall Chapel.
