Vance, my only executor of this my Will and he is to take all of my affects which I now delivered to him it being in the following notes here described. (xxxxxx?) F.J. Vance one of which is (?) for $100.00. Dated Oct 24, 1857 and other $80.23c dated Oct 24, 1857 and other $40.81c dated October 24, 1857. Which last note has a credit of 1950. 13. 1858 (?). Also three notes on C.K. Vance one of which is drawn for $195.00 dated Nov 1st, 1857 and an other for $100.00 dated Nov 1st 1857 (and) an other of $77.75 dated Nov 1st 1857 an the last of which there is a credit of $3.00 Jan 1859. And also 1 note on J.U. Vance for $45.25 dated Nov. 8th 1856 which has credits to the amount of $15.25 and it is my will that J.U. Vance shal have (xxx?) last named note provided he pais Dr. J.P. (?) Barnett (xxxx?) his bill for his practice which he has a gainst me. I also will that the said J.G. Vance shall collect a suffissient a mount of the above described notes to furnish my self and wife Rebeca Vance with all the necessaries and comforts of life and I further moor will that 2 notes one of $101.00 on J.G. Vance and One on C.K. Vance of $100.00 (Seal) Will Page 2 be delivered to them provided that there be a suficientcy to support my self & wife Rebeca with out them in the hands of the said J.G. Vance of which he will be the judge but should we not need it, it is my will that it shall not be (xxxx?) should there be a remainder when we are done with this world & worldly things that it shall be divided between my three youngest children, Fountain, Amanda and James.
