| Daisy N. Smith Obituary Sterling City - Daisy N. Smith, 88, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1992, in the Sterling County Nursing Home. Service will be at the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Friday with interment in the Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. Arrangements are by Ross Funeral Home. Daisy married R. T. Smith Sr. on Aug. 19, 1922, in Sterling City, Texas. She had lived in Sterling City sine 1936. She was a retired cafe cook. She was preceded in death by R. T. Smith Sr. and one daughter, Ruth Smith in 1989. Survivors include two sons, R. T. Smith Jr. of Ballwin, Mo., and Eugene Smith of Salinas, Colo., and three sisters, Ethel Blair of Sterling City, Maude Middleton of Afton and Beatrice Keller of Tyler. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
