RETURN        HOME

Located in Throckmorton Co.on State Hwy 283,about 3 miles north of Fort Griffin State Park ,just passed the
Shackelford Co. line. Turn west at cemetery sign. Here you will have to get out and open a gate, as it is on
private land with loose livestock. The landowner requests that you close the gate behind you. Follow road
about 1 mile. It is a family cemetery with
connections to the Ledbetter, Shelton, and Perkins's. There are, however, about two burials that are not
related to these families. A chainlink fence surrounds the cemetery and is very well maintained.
