Carter, J P 1856 1930 J P's stone stands directly behind J W Carter's stone submitted by Geraldine Little Braswell - Per Ronald Wade :  Joseph P. Carter, born about March 1857 in McNairy Co., Tn., the son of James M Carter (1828 – 1860) and Elizabeth J Carter (1827 – 1901), he died Oct. 17, 1930 in Upshur Co., Tx. and was living with his brother and sister at the time of his death per the 1930 Federal Census records.
