From Gilmer take Hwy 154 to the right.  Go to FM 1650, and turn right. The cemetery will be on your right at the crossroads of FM 1650 & Goose Rd.  This is  a very well kept cemetery, enclosed by chain link fence.

Ragsdale, F L Jun 15, 1834 Nov 30, 1918 Per Ronald Wade - Frederick "Fred" Lossett Ragsdale, born in Florence, Alabama, the son of William Henry Ragsdale (1801 – 1888) & Sarah Ragsdale (born about 1806 NC - 1902 Heflin, Cleburn, Ala.).   Fred married 25 Nov 1865 in Marshall Co., Miss. to Sarah Volusia Baugh. During the Civil War he enlisted in Marshall Co., Miss. in Aug 1861 and was Company Sergeant the Co. H, 2nd Mississippi Partisan Rangers, also known as Ballentine's Mississippi Regiment Cavalry, which united with William Jackson's 7th (Duckworth's) Tennessee Cavalry.  He surrendered with his regiment in Selma, Alabama in May 1865.  On 1 Sep 1913 he was approved for a Confederate Veteran's Pension from Upshur Co., Texas.

Dathie Spann - - Died as a very small child, she was the daughter of James Augustus and Frances Marlyn (White) Spann. She was the granddaughter of Bryant Cicero and Amelia Jane (Armstrong) Spann.
