Primaries in Upshar.

Gilmer, Upshur Co., Tex., May 10 -- The result of 4th democratic primary election held yesterday 
for county officers is as follows:  There were cast 1538 votes; total votes in county at general 
election 2300.  The following officers were nominated: T H Biggs, county judge;  S J Monaghan, 
sheriff;  M P Mell, county attorney; W A Phillips, county clerk;  B J Oliver, district clerk; R J 
Sturdivant, tax collector; W T Billingslee, tax assessor; Dugger Culberson, treasurer.
