Cecil Mae Thompson Willeford
b. May 20, 1880 in AR         d. July 21, 1971 in Shreveport, LA
buried old section of Gilmer City Cemetery
wife of John W. Willeford and daughter of W.M. and Susan Thompson
Note they misspelled her name (should be Willeford, not Williford) and also
gave the wrong maiden name (Johnson; should be Thompson).

Obituary

Clemmie Hollins 

Mr. Clemmie Hollins was born to the parentage of Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Beola Hollins, February 11, 1902 in Upshur County, Texas. His wife preceded him in death. He attended Upshur County Public Schools. He united in holy matrimony to Miss Jewel Jones on December 27, 1922 in Gilmer, Texas. 

Eleven children were born of which two preceded him in death. At an early age, Mr. Hollins united with the New Mountain Baptist Church and was a faithful member until he moved to Dallas, Texas 
in 1955. He then united with Independent Baptist Church in 1956 as being one of the first members in organizing the new church, which is now the New Independent Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon and Mason of  Hiram Lodge No. 180 in Gilmer, Texas. 

Mr. Hollins' sister, Estella West preceded him in death.

Mr. Hollins leaves to mourn his death; six daughters, Cinderella Harris, Odella Hollins, Irene Edwards, Alberta Collier, Gertha L. Arterberry all of Dallas, Texas, Eula M. Waters of Gilmer, Texas; three sons, C. W. Hollins, Nathaniel Hollins, Daniel Hollins all of Dallas, Texas. 
Two sisters, Daisy Mae Gardner, Beatrice Burnhart of  Oakland, California; three brothers, 
George Hollins, of Ore City, Texas, Eunice Hollins of Pittsburg, Texas, Hugh Hollins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seventeen granddaughters; nine grandsons; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Obituary

Libby Jones Davis 

Libby Jones Davis was born Feb. 6, 1903, to the union of Johnnie Jones and Kittie Jones in Gilmer, Texas. They proceded her in death. She was a native of the Valley View Community and later
moved to Snow Hill. She joined The Valley View Baptist Church at an early age. She was united in holy matrimony to Judge Davis who preceded her in  death. To this marriage 10 children were born. 

" Thou shall lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet." Prov, 3:24 

On Sunday evening, June 28, 1992 at 8:30p.m,. she heard her Master call, "Mrs. Davis come to rest."  "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." St. John 14:18 

Being comforted are; Daughters, Donnie Bell Davis Harris and Mandy Lee Davis Lewis, both of Ft. Worth; Katherine Davis Redd of Dallas; Fayelene Davis Vaughn of San Diego, Ca. Sons: Arthur Lee
Davis and Alfonzo Tommy Lee Davis, both of Ft. Worth; Junior Lee Davis of Dallas; MacArthur Davis and J.D. Davis preceded her in death. Willie Reed Hale, a grandson who she considered a son: 39 grandchildren; 62 great- grandchildren; Sisters: Lalar Hayes, of Gilmer and Marina of Garland; 
Brothers; Jessie Jones of Garland and Frank Jones of Neyland and a host of other relatives and friends.

Obituary

Mr. Jessie Jones 

Mr. Jessie Jones was born February 4, 1908 in Gilmer, Texas to the  parentage of the late Mr. Johnnie and Kitty Hale Jones. He received his formal education in the Upshur County Schools. He
professed a faith in Christ in his early life and united with the Valley View Baptist Church (Valley View Community) in Gilmer, Texas. He met and married the former Ms. Emma Loud Russaw and to this union eight (8) children were born. His wife, one daughter and one son preceded him in death. 
He later married Ms. Velta Lee Hollins and to this union seven(7) children were born. One son 
and his wife also preceded him in death. He was a Dallas resident for over 40 years and was a retired construction laborer. 

He passed away March 24, 1993. 

Survivors: daughters- Mrs. Tempie Lee Jennings, Edna D. Finch, Patsy R. Jackson, Truvinio J. Wathrall, Bobbie Faye Hunt, Jennie Mae Crenshaw, Ella Jean Jones, Blanchie M. Payne and 
Frances Jones; sons- William Jones, Ozieo Jones, Jessie Jones, Charles Jones and Dennie Jones; sixty three(63) grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; one brother- Mr. Frank Hale and 
a host of other relatives and friends.

Obituary 
Mrs. Emmaline Jones 
6/4/1898 - 1/30/1990 

Mrs. Emmaline Jones was born June 4, 1898, in Upshur County to the parentage of Johnnie and Kitty Jones. Sis. Emmaline departed this life January 30, 1990, to go home to be with God. Sis. Emmaline united with Valley View Baptist Church at an early age. She attended Valley View School. 
On December 30, 1916, she married Bro. David Jones, and to this union three children were born: Mrs. Ella M. Russaw and Mrs. Rosa D. Newsome, both of Gilmer, Texas, and Mrs. Lemon E.
Robinson of Dallas, Texas. Her husband preceded her in death. 

Sis. Emmaline leaves to mourn her passing three daughters: Mrs. Ella M. Russaw, Rosa D. Newsome and Lemon E. Robinson; four sisters: Lola Haye and Rosa Mae Morgan of Gilmer, Texas, Libby Davis of Ore City, Texas, and Maurine Belcher of Los Angeles, California; three brothers: Jessie Jones of Dallas, Texas, Frank Jones of Commerce, Texas, and Savannah Jones; nine
grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
