Adams, John D.   	

DIANA - Services for John D. Adams, 69, of Ore City, will be 4 p.m., 
Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Ore City Church of Christ with Johnny Coleman 
officiating. Interment will be in Ore City Cemetery. Arrangements are 
under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Mr. Adams 
passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007, at his residence.

John was born January 15, 1938, in Roxton, Texas, to Andy and Eulala 
Adams. he was a maintenance director for Ore City ISD and a member of 
the Ore City Church of Christ. John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Carol Adams of Ore City; a son, Eric 
Adams of Portland, Ore., a daughter, Dee Ann Cameron, and husband, 
Randy, of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Landon Oliver of Waco, Cara 
Cameron of Mount Pleasant, Brad Cameron of Nacogdoches and Charles 
Cameron of Mount Pleasant; brothers, Roland and Gary Adams of Lubbock; 
and sisters, Adell Barker and Wanda Sprawls of Lubbock and Sandra Tyree 
of Kenley, N.C.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2007, at Grubbs-Loyd 
Funeral Home in Diana.
