GILMER -- Services for Doris Arnold, 78, of Gilmer, will be 4 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel of Gilmer. Interment will be in Cherokee Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold died June 30, 2006, in Gilmer. Born September 23, 1927, in Lufkin, she was a homemaker and member of Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her sons, Danny Wise, Larry Arnold, Ben Arnold, and Jeffrey Arnold; daughters, Crystal Morrison, Marilyn McCaskill, and Tina Smith; brothers, Robert Gray, Hugh Gray, and David Gray; and sisters, Verline Beard and MaryLynn Bramblett. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
